Module: 1
Part 1: How to meet people
Students will learn 10 ways to meet people with common interests, and specific do’s and don’t s related to projecting an ” I’m interested” demeanor.
Part 2: How to turn an acquaintance into a friend.
Most of the people we see on a regular basis never become our friends. They remain acquaintances, people who are just friendly. Friends are more than friendly; they care about what is best for us. Your students will learn what people do to become and be a real friend.
Part 3: How to deepen a friendship.
This video deals with the kinds of friends you can trust with your intimate thoughts and feelings and those you can count on to stand by you in bad times. Your students will learn what to do to develop and nurture a deep relationship.

Part 4: How to mistake friendliness for friendship.
An important lesson of growing up is learning that there is a difference between frindliness and being a friend. Students will learn to develop realistic expectations for friendly neighbors, co-workers, etc. vs real friends.
Part 5: How to avoid getting into trouble with strangers.
Mistaking niceness for goodness can be dangerous. Students will learn to recognize and avoid potentially explosive strangers and understand the importance of trusting the warning feelings that almost always surface in the presence of danger.
